President Museveni Announces Closing Educational Institutions, Conventions in Uganda

President Museveni announces closing educational institutions, gatherings in Uganda Museveni has banned Ugandan citizens from traveling to countries infected with corona virus. 

Ugandans arriving from abroad will be required to quarantine for 14 days at their own expense. 

Museveni has ordered the closure of primary, secondary and tertiary institutions starting on Friday the 20th of March, for a month. 

All houses of worship have been ordered to postpone gatherings for a month from now. 

Public gatherings including meetings, election rallies, regular, cultural meetings are also banned for one month. There is no information on having an infected person in Uganda.
